Cybersecurity startup Northstar Security has emerged from stealth mode with 7 million dollars in seed funding, SecurityWeek reported. Wing Venture Capital led the seed investment round. MVP, Outliers, and individual cybersecurity veterans Gerhard Eschelbeck, Renaud Deraison, and Justin Somaini also participated in the funding round. [1]

According to SecurityWeek, the company develops artificial intelligence agents designed to assist security teams. The startup ingests data from existing security and information technology tools to construct a real-time system that it terms a Security Context Graph. [1]

SecurityWeek reported that this graph maps how identities, assets, applications, vulnerabilities, and business systems connect with one another. The company uses its artificial intelligence agents to identify and automatically remediate hazardous combinations of security issues across these connected systems. [1]
